Want to ask your boss for funding and time off to attend MSPGeekCon 2026? Here’s a starting place for you!

Hi [Boss’s Name],

I hope you’re having a great week! I wanted to reach out about an exciting opportunity to attend MSPGeekCon 2026. This conference is all about helping technicians like me grow and develop our skills, and I genuinely think it could benefit both my career and our team. [If relevant] I know I bring this up every year, but this year MSPGeek has actually changed things and this time they’re asking me to bring you with!

MSPGeekCon this year features three tracks that focuses on the core of our industry. Business, Tech and of course, Community. Each track is designed to speak to the challenges we face in our respective roles and keep us updated on the latest trends and advancements.

Here are a few reasons I think attending would be super valuable:

  1. Skill Enhancement:
The sessions are packed with practical insights that we can apply right away to boost our team’s efficiency. Plus, the speakers are top-notch, carefully selected for their expertise. There are also Pre-Day workshops where I can learn things we can apply immediately. These sessions now include both Business insights for ownership, operations and managers as well as technical insights for myself or people on the technical team
  2. Team Building and Culture:
The One Team, One Mission theme adds a fun twist and helps foster a positive culture not just among MSPs and Vendors, but also between the operations and execution side of our MSP bridging the gap and helping us come into alignment in ways that’ll drive our MSP growth. I believe this will enhance collaboration both between our team and vendors we choose to work with, but also internally between departments and help to reduce friction when it comes to things like New Sales hand-off or adopting business initiatives.
  3. Networking Opportunities:
The conference attracts a diverse group of professionals, making it a fantastic chance to connect and share best practices. These connections could lead to valuable collaborations for our company. MSPGeekCon this year is targeting an additional 100 attendees focused on the business owner side as well so there’ll be plenty of learning opportunities from those that are facing similar struggles
  4. Cost-Effective:
The early bird ticket is only $399, and hotel rooms are $219 a night. Given the knowledge and skills I’ll gain, it’s a smart investment for both my growth and our team’s success.

I really appreciate you considering my request to attend MSPGeekCon. I’m happy to discuss this further if you have any questions or need more information!

Thanks a lot!
