If MSPGeekCon had a fake late-80s high school, Goots would absolutely run the place. Welcome to Bayside High School MSPGeekCon: Goots’ First-Day Orientation is a fun, high-energy pre-day workshop built to help first-timers, vendor booth staff, and curious humans figure out the conference before the conference really starts. Dean “Slater” Trempelas and Ashley “Kapowski” Cooper will guide attendees through the vibe, the norms, the social survival tips, and a pile of interactive orientation activities designed to help you make connections without forcing miserable networking theater. It is silly on purpose, useful by design, and probably the best possible way to avoid spending your first day looking lost.
